The Husqvarna 7021P is a 21" gas powered mower with an excellent 160CC GCV Honda engine. It is rated at 6.9 gross torque making it right on par with, if not better than most other walk-behind mowers. Many reviewers purchased this lawn mower because of the Honda engine and the dependability that comes along with it. It is gas efficient and most users have found it to start up quickly every time.
One reviewer bought this mower because they use push mowers for health reasons, and they stated that it is better than what the reviews say. After using it once, the reviewer went out and purchased a cheaper mower because the cheaper one gave them more of a workout! They said it is so powerful that it never bogs down and it pushes so easy that it feels self propelled. Basically it is a great mower.
The large rear wheels make it ideal for rough ground. For the price, the 7021P is a great value as you can easily spend $500 or more on a lawnmower, especially considering this mower features a Honda engine. It is a four stroke engine so there is no need to mix the oil with the gas. It has been recommended for anything other than large or hilly lawns. If you do have a larger area it would probably be better to buy a self propelled lawn mower.
Some reviewers weren't so happy with the lawn mower however. In fact, some consider it a piece of junk. They said it has the potential to be a nice mower since it's light weight and rolls easily, but the quality control is bad. Some have found the mower to pulse between fast and slow, or is hard to start. Still others don't care for the automatic choke, and would rather regulate it themselves.
One reviewer in particular was excited about their new purchase, but after 10 seconds of the first start it died. After rechecking the fluids and rereading the manual, they started it up again but it died again after 10 seconds. They came to the conclusion that they must have received a lemon.
But with a simple set-up and ample power, the majority of reviewers were more than happy after buying this lawn mower. It is a quality mower with a great engine and build quality. And for the price, it is simply a good deal. Make sure you do your research before purchasing a mower on-line though. Sometimes they can be damaged during shipping, or like one of the reviewers stated, you might just be unlucky and get a lemon.
